Moreton Youth Music Ensembles
Concert Band
Moreton Youth Concert Band, formerly Pine Rivers Youth Band, was formed in 1978 by the then coordinator for Woodwind Instrumental Music for the Department of Education in Pine Rivers, Peter Roxburgh.
Initially, the band members came mainly from secondary schools in the Shire.
A junior band was subsequently formed, catering for primary students.
Currently, the Concert Band is a single ensemble catering for primary and secondary school students from the Moreton Bay region.
Mr Stewart Boston-Dart was appointed as conductor in 2023.
